Sunday August 11, 2019 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This "Free Open Streets" event was a first for Red Deer in 2018. It was a new event where selected streets in the downtown core were temporarily closed to automobile traffic. The streets became “paved parks”.
Cyclovia 2019 was bigger and better!
More vendors, more activities and more entertainment.
It was as Green Event as possible at the Zero Waste Station.
At 10am at the Dawe Library & Kerry Wood Nature Center there was
bike decorating and then parading to the Downtown!
PANCAKE BREAKFAST by Three Stones Catering!
From 10am till 11am for a Toonie or a Food Bank Donation
Live Music by Paeton Cameron, 106.7 The Drive, Big 105.5, X100.7, kraze 101.3
The Prize Draw with your Passport all filled out, was a hit!
FREE bicycle parking was courtesy of Primary Care Network!
FREE RD Transit Bus rides out of downtown for Participants! Tokens from RDABC Tent. Several people used them as the drizzle was pretty steady by 1:30pm
Lots of room to ride your longboard, scooter, tricycles, walkers, wheelchairs, rollerblades, roller skates, segway, any sort of bicycle you have created or by foot.

Yoga for Cyclists 12:00 - 1pm at City Hall Park was full
Walking Tour with Peggy Freeman 1pm - Met at the RDABC Tent
